Ekrani i Artit is a video art, experimental and documentary film festival held in Shkoder, Northern Albania, organized by Art House. It started out in 2017, as a retrospective of a handful of titles. Over the years, it has progressively grown and become one of the leading cultural events both at a local and national level, also thanks to the collaborations with many international cultural institutions such as Lo Schermo dell’arte, Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, Protocinema, Videoart at midnight. This non-competitive festival strives to introduce Albanian audiences to films that wouldn’t be shown otherwise and do that with great care and enthusiasm. Over the past seven years we have brought to Shkodra more than 200 screenings, between International and national visions.
